Threads, an Instagram app for text-based messaging, launched a day early.
Within less than 24 hours, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that Threads had reached 30 million users.
According to the number badges appearing on Instagram profiles, denoting when someone joined Threads, there are now over 55 million Threads users.
