Consumers spent 86% more time in travel apps this year than they had the previous year, according to new data share via email by App Annie.
While vaccinations are driving the reopening of the travel industry, it seems we are still far below levels of 2019.
Google Maps was the most downloaded travel and navigation app during Q1 2021 as more consumers venture out on local trips.
It was followed by Uber which ranked second for downloads by number one for average monthly users.
