YouTube announced today it will soon launch its own answer to DirecTV Now and other subscription-based TV services.
The company called it “live TV for the YouTube generation,” in its announcement.
YouTube TV will cost around $35 per month and provide access to ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX in addition to many other networks and live programming such as sports and news. The Verge reported that the current list of participating networks doesn’t include any Turner Broadcasting properties or certain channels from Viacom.
