Instagram marked Safer Internet Day Tuesday with some tweaks to its safety features.
The Facebook-owned photo- and video-sharing network introduced a new Support Requests feature to add transparency to the process when people report content on its platform.
Users can go to their Settings and tap Support Requests to see information such as the status of their reports.
Tapping More Options brings up additional actions they can take, including muting, blocking, restricting or unfollowing the account that the reported content came from.
